Hollow-shaft rotary table with timing-belt drive and the compact Ezi-SERVO II Plus-E MINI Ethernet drive: precise positioning, cables, hoses or optics routed straight through the axis of rotation, and controlled via Ethernet from a PC or PLC – for indexing tables and rotary axes with varying load inertia.
Mechanics
The low-backlash involute timing belt achieves a repeatability of ±30 arcsec (≈ 0.008°) and runs quietly. A ball-bearing output table and carbon-steel timing pulleys make the unit rigid and wear-resistant. The drive pulley has its own bearings, so the motor shaft carries no belt forces – extending service life. Frame sizes 60, 85 and 130 mm with hollow shaft Ø27, Ø37 and Ø55 mm, reduction ratio 1:5 and up to 12.8 N·m permissible torque. A home sensor set (NPN or PNP) is available as an option.
Control
The Ezi-SERVO operates in closed loop: no lost steps, no hunting at standstill, no gain tuning required. The compact drive takes up little space in the control cabinet. Motion commands are sent via Ethernet, and all settings are retained after power-off. Alternatively, up to 256 stored positions can be triggered via digital I/Os – no network programming needed. The built-in switch daisy-chains up to 254 axes; a motion library (API) is available for PC applications under Windows.
