Compact closed-loop stepping system with integrated Ethernet communication for precise, dynamic positioning tasks. Motor, high-resolution encoder, drive, and motion controller are integrated into a single unit, simplifying installation and reducing the required mounting space. The encoder continuously monitors the current motor position and automatically corrects any positioning deviation, with position feedback evaluated every 50 µs.
Ethernet communication & position table
The connection is via Ethernet using 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX. The built-in dual-port Ethernet switch lets multiple drives simply be daisy-chained. Up to 254 axes can be operated over a single network. Up to 256 position points are also available, which can be stored for recurring motion sequences and triggered via digital input signals or communication commands.
