Closed-loop stepping system with Ethernet connectivity for precise and reliable positioning and automation tasks. A high-resolution encoder continuously monitors the current motor position and automatically corrects any positioning deviation, with position feedback evaluated every 50 µs. Thanks to the closed-loop principle, the system works precisely and dynamically without requiring elaborate tuning.
Ethernet communication & position table
The connection is via Ethernet using 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX. The built-in dual-port Ethernet switch lets drives simply be daisy-chained. Up to 254 axes can be operated over a single network. Up to 256 position points are also available, which can be stored for recurring motion sequences and triggered via digital inputs/outputs or a PC.
