Hollow-shaft rotary table with precision gearbox and the compact Ezi-SERVO II Plus-E MINI Ethernet drive: high-accuracy positioning, cables, hoses or optics routed straight through the axis of rotation, and controlled via Ethernet from a PC or PLC – for indexing tables and rotary axes with demanding accuracy and load requirements.
Mechanics
The low-backlash precision gearbox achieves a repeatability of ±10 arcsec (≈ 0.003°). With no belts or pulleys, there is no re-tensioning – the unit is low-maintenance. On HG130S and HG170S a crossed roller bearing supports the output table and handles high axial and moment loads. Frame sizes 60, 100, 130 and 170 mm with hollow shaft Ø20 to Ø85 mm, reduction ratios from 1:5 to 1:36 and up to 170 N·m permissible torque. A home sensor set (NPN or PNP) is available as an option.
Control
The Ezi-SERVO operates in closed loop: no lost steps, no hunting at standstill, no gain tuning required. The compact drive takes up little space in the control cabinet. Motion commands are sent via Ethernet, and all settings are retained after power-off. Alternatively, up to 256 stored positions can be triggered via digital I/Os – no network programming needed. The built-in switch daisy-chains up to 254 axes; a motion library (API) is available for PC applications under Windows.
