Closed-loop stepping system with EtherCAT connectivity for precise, dynamic positioning tasks. A high-resolution encoder continuously captures the current motor position, enabling reliable position control. Control runs on an integrated 32-bit controller, combining the characteristics of a stepping system with powerful fieldbus communication.

EtherCAT communication
The connection is via EtherCAT with CoE and the CiA 402 drive profile. Supported modes include Cyclic Synchronous Position, Profile Position, and Homing. Free Run, SM Event, and DC Sync Event are available for synchronized motion; the minimum cycle time is 250 µs.
