Analog input module with EtherCAT connectivity for acquiring measurement and sensor signals. Eight channels measure either voltage or current; input mode and input range can be configured per channel. A moving average filter smooths noisy signals, and the resolution is 1/8,191 (full scale). Wiring is via a terminal block, mounting on a DIN rail.
EtherCAT communication
The connection is via EtherCAT with CoE (CiA 401 I/O profile). Firmware updates are transferred via FoE; Free Run, SM Event and DC SYNC Event are available for synchronized operation.
