Fieldbus gateway for DeviceNet: connects up to 16 Ezi-SERVO, Ezi-STEP and Ezi-MOTIONLINK drives of the Plus-R range to the higher-level controller – without each drive needing its own fieldbus interface. The drives sit on the gateway's RS-485 bus, while the PLC sees just a single DeviceNet node.
DeviceNet communication
The gateway works as a DeviceNet slave with Rockwell, Mitsubishi and LS controllers; station number and baud rate are set via rotary switches, and up to 63 gateways can share one network. Jog operation in 4 speed steps and step moves with 4 distances can be triggered directly from the PLC. With Ezi-SERVO ALL-ABS in the system, select protocol version P8.
