High-speed counter module with Ethernet connectivity for acquiring encoder and pulse signals. Two independent channels count A, B and Z phases with 32 bits and handle pulses up to 4 MHz. Line receiver inputs for line driver encoders and DC inputs for open collector devices (NPN/PNP) are built in. The comparison output function switches an output as soon as the counter reaches a preset value; latch, reset and preset complete the counter functions. The module mounts on a DIN rail.
Ethernet communication
The connection is via Ethernet (UDP/TCP, 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX). A Windows user interface program is available for commissioning and testing; for integration into your own applications there is an I/O library (API) for Windows and Linux.
