Fieldbus gateway for PROFIBUS-DPV1: connects up to 9 Ezi-SERVO, Ezi-STEP and Ezi-MOTIONLINK drives of the Plus-R range to the higher-level controller – without each drive needing its own fieldbus interface. The drives sit on the gateway's RS-485 bus, while the PLC sees just a single PROFIBUS node.

PROFIBUS communication
The gateway works as a PROFIBUS slave with Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi and LS controllers, detects the baud rate up to 12 Mbps automatically and is addressed via rotary switches; up to 125 gateways can share one network. Jog operation in 4 speed steps and step moves with 4 distances can be triggered directly from the PLC. Siemens controllers require Big Endian byte order (factory default for PROFIBUS). With Ezi-SERVO ALL-ABS in the system, select protocol version P8.
