Closed-loop stepper system with a multi-axis drive and CC-Link IE TSN connectivity: a single drive controls up to four axes (3X: three axes), saving drives, wiring and cabinet space. A different motor in frame sizes 20 to 60 mm can be connected to each axis – standard motors, motors with brake and geared motors can be combined freely. A high-resolution encoder continuously monitors the motor position and corrects deviations automatically – without step loss and without tedious gain tuning. The compact drive mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail; control and main power supplies are separate.
CC-Link IE TSN communication
The system connects via CC-Link IE TSN (Class B) at 1 Gbit/s using the CiA 402 drive profile. Cyclic Synchronous Position, Profile Position and Homing modes are supported. Communication can be synchronous (CSP, PP, HM) or asynchronous (PP, HM); the minimum cycle time is 250 µs. The system works with CC-Link IE TSN masters such as MELSEC MX Controller, MELSEC iQ-R, MELSEC iQ-F, SWM-G or MOVENSYS WMX; cable lengths of up to 100 m between nodes are possible.
