Microstepping system with CC-Link IE TSN connectivity and Torque-Off function for precise, reliable positioning tasks. A powerful 32-bit controller enables high-resolution microstep control with up to 50,000 steps per revolution. PWM current control at a 50 µs cycle and built-in filtering ensure smooth motion even at very low speeds. An internal DC-DC converter boosts the motor voltage, and the run current can additionally be set up to 150 % – increasing torque by around 30 % across the entire speed range. On the 42, 56 and 60 mm frame sizes, software damping reduces vibration and prevents loss of synchronization at high speeds.
Torque-Off function
Two dedicated TQOFF inputs cut off motor power via a hardware signal, independently of CC-Link IE TSN communication; the drive immediately switches to STEP Off. The status is reported back via the TQMON output. Control power and main power are supplied separately.
CC-Link IE TSN communication
The connection uses CC-Link IE TSN (Class B) at 1 Gbit/s with the CiA 402 Drive Profile. Cyclic Synchronous Position, Profile Position and Homing are supported. Communication can be synchronous (CSP, PP, HM) or asynchronous (PP, HM), with a minimum cycle time of 250 µs. The system can be connected to CC-Link IE TSN masters such as the MELSEC MX Controller, MELSEC iQ-R, MELSEC iQ-F, SWM-G or MOVENSYS WMX; cable lengths of up to 100 m are possible between stations.
